After a few months break from posting I'm back!! But before I start 2026 I do need to go back and finish off 2025 ..... so after an amazing holiday - a year ago now - here are the highlights of the remainder of 2025....
During October, together with Linda, a week was spent in Bundanoon. There were many visits with Mum at her care home....
........went to the Lyric Theatre in Sydney to see the fabulous and very funny "Book of Mormon"....one of Vivien's friends Kym joined us to see the show.....
Back at Bundanoon the week ended with us exploring the many open gardens at the annual Bundanoon Garden Ramble...... and included a good "old fashioned" lovely morning tea at the local church hall.....
Our week in Bundanoon included the mandatory visit to our favourite patchwork shop "Botanical Threads" in Mittagong.....needless to say we all left with a little parcel! 
The end of November saw a few friends and I head up to Braidwood for the "Airing of the Quilts". We were all inspired by the many beautiful quilts which had to be hung in various town churches due to the rainy weather. 
Our day was finished off with a late lunch at this cute cafe in Braidwood.......
Sadly, Viviens beautiful dog Sandy crossed the "rainbow bridge" in November. Sandy was much loved by all the family and the many friends she made - particularly at Mum's care home where she was a regular visitor. 
Then came Christmas 2025!! Out came my decorations - seemed like only a few months earlier they had been packed away! And of course there was a little help from Phoebe....did I say help!!
While the company of Megan, James and Hayley was missed for Christmas 2025, Linda and I celebrated with Mum and Vivien in Bundanoon.
Our 2 weeks in Bundanoon were quiet and relaxing.... the weather was quite cool, more suitable for quiet reading time indoors. Linda unfortunately came down with a bad cold and Vivien was away in Adelaide for a few days while I spent most days visiting Mum at her care home. We did though get to Berkelouw Books near Berrima where we had afternoon tea and made a purchase of a book or 2 !
There was also a lovely visit from a couple of friends who drove down from Sydney - making the most of Linda and I being in Bundanoon.... together with Mum we enjoyed lunch and spent a number of hours catching up!
All too soon Christmas and New Year in Bundanoon were over with Linda heading north and myself back to the coast .....
Once home I then spent some days un-decorating my house till next Christmas which won't be too far away!! Except for a few, all 70+ Santas fitted back into the plastic tub!! 
And that, would you believe, brings me to the end of 2025!! I'm sure I've not forgotten anything - there may be a few less photos than there would have been if I'd posted at the time but generally all highlights have now been noted!
